Terms of Service

The service
LessonCut turns a Zoom cloud recording (or equivalent camera + screen files) into an edited lesson using an automated rules engine. You get a downloadable video; you keep all rights to your recordings and to the edited lesson.
Your content
Upload only recordings you own or have permission to process. You are responsible for what is in them. We may refuse or remove content that is illegal or abusive.
Plans
Free: 3 lessons of up to 20 minutes each, 720p with a small LessonCut mark, files kept 7 days. Creator, Pro and Team: the hours per month and features listed on the pricing page; hours beyond your plan are billed at US$1 per hour of source video. Prices may change with 30 days' notice; a change never applies to a period you already paid for.
Billing
Card payments are subscriptions billed monthly by PretendMind LLC through Stripe and renew until cancelled from Settings. Bangladesh payments (bKash, cards, Nagad, Rocket via SSLCommerz) are 30-day passes sold by PretendMind Ltd.; they do not renew by themselves.
What we promise and don't
We work hard to make every edit good, but a rules engine can misjudge a lesson. The service is provided as is. If a render is wrong, re-run it, adjust the label, or email us; we will fix what we can. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last three months.
Fair use
Do not try to break the queue, scrape the service, resell it, or process recordings you have no right to. We may suspend accounts that do.
Zoom
LessonCut works with Zoom and is not affiliated with Zoom Video Communications, Inc. Zoom's own terms apply to your Zoom account.
Termination
You can stop any time: cancel from Settings and delete your account by email. We may end the service with 30 days' notice and will let you download your lessons first.
Law
Card customers contract with PretendMind LLC under the laws of New Mexico, USA. Taka customers contract with PretendMind Ltd. under the laws of Bangladesh.
